By Corporal Joseph Lewis

One could not help but notice the smile on her face as she enters the office for a formal interview.
This soft spoken young lady was no other than twelve year old Kadyann Stupart daughter of Sergeant Kevin Stupart of the Jamaica Defence Force.
Kadyann is a straight (A) student who attended the Mico Practicing Primary and Junior High School in Kingston.
She had her dream come through on 18 June 2010 when the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) results came out and she discovered that she had pass for her first choice school, Campion College.
“I was overjoyed when I learnt that I was successful in the Exams,” she said.
School for me was very great it was the next best place for me after the library where I enjoyed going each day she went on to say.
With a smile on her face she credited her parents for believing in her and always encouraging her to aim for the top.
“It is an excellent feeling for me right now,” said Sergeant Stupart who describes his daughter as a fun loving child, who is very dicipline.
He went on to say that Kadyann is a daughter that every parent would love to have.
Kadyann’s average in the GSAT exams was 98.5% good enough to place her in the school of her choice.
“I’m so elated but not surprised of my daughter’s performance,” said Mrs Stephanie Davidson-Stupart.
She is the type of child who doesn’t have to get an order from me or her father to work.
This intelligent young lady loves to read, watching television, listening to music and surfing the internet.
Kadyann received the award for “Outstanding Performance in the Grade 6 Achievement Test 2010”
Her advice to other students who wishes to be successful in their GSAT exams is to read over their work carefully and don’t let the pressure of the exam get to them.
