Journey to JDF Coast Guard Concludes Royal Visit

Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall ended their visit to Jamaica on a high note when they visited the Jamaica Defence Force Coast Guard.

Port Royal while the Prime Minister Bruce Golding looks on.

Their visit at the Coast Guard was no normal one as they were entertained by the Jamaica Defence Force Massed Bands and Corps of Drums with a spectacular display and musical presentation.

During the musical presentation and display, their Royal Highnesses watched the sunset parade where they lowered the Jamaican flag.

Escorted by Prime Minister of Jamaica, The Honourable Bruce Golding and his wife,
Mrs Lorna Golding, Their Royal Highnesses arrived at HMJS CAGWAY where they were met and greeted with a Royal Salute by a Quarter Guard presented by members of the JDF Coast Guard.

They also met with the Commanding Officer and crew members of HMJS CORNWALL, who provided security for Their Royal Highnesses Royal Yacht, Leander, during their stay in Jamaica.

The Port Royal community came out in large numbers to see their Royal Highnesses one last time before their departure. Before departing to the Norman Manley International Airport, The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall mingled with the residents of Port Royal who shouted their names in an effort to get their attention.
